Sustainable palm oil in Malaysia
Dr. Inke van der Sluijs, a PhD holder in biology, is RSPO’s Director Market Transformation. The RSPO secretariat is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and has offices in Indonesia, the Netherlands, Uk, China, US, and Colombia. Inke’s role in the RSPO secretariat is to lead the global market transformation by working with regional teams to ensure that supply and demand of certified sustainable palm oil continues to grow. The focus of the work in Malaysia is member administration, technical assistance, smallholder engagement, assurance, communication, and market engagement.
Grand Tour, A study trip to Malaysia
Martijn Habers, is a master’s student at the TU Delft and one of the organizers of the “Grand Tour,” a study trip to Malaysia. Currently in his sixth year of study, Martijn completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering before dedicating a year as a full-time Data Analyst on the “Project MARCH” initiative, where he contributed to the development of an exoskeleton aimed at helping individuals with paraplegia regain mobility. After this experience, he transitioned into a Master’s program in Robotics.

Rick Honings
Rick Honings is a Scaliger Professor and is affiliated with the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS). His research primarily focuses on 19th-century Dutch literature and colonial literature from the Dutch East Indies.
Coen van ‘t Veer
Coen van ‘t Veer (1968) is an assistant professor at the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS). His research focuses on (post)colonial literature, particularly that of the Dutch East Indies/Indonesia.
