The Netherlands – Malaysia Association, in close collaboration with Wageningen University & Research, is organizing an interesting afternoon on Friday, October 18 next at the Wageningen Campus on the collaboration with Malaysia. You are welcome as of 14.00 hours. This afternoon is open for everyone.
We welcome very much everyone who is interested in this topic. Students and members of the Netherlands – Malaysia Association can participate for free. Others pay a small contribution of Euro 5,- (to be paid at the event). Please register yourself for this event at VNM-secretariat: before October 14.

– Peter (P.J.M.) Oosterveer, Professor Social Sciences and Endowed Chair at UKM His research and teaching is in the field of globalization and sustainability of food production and consumption. In 2016, Professor Oosterveer was appointed as Endowed Chair at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Topic: Strengthening scientific cooperation between the Netherlands and Malaysia.
– Norazlida (Ida) Jamil, Malaysian Phd-student on plant-growth monitoring at the Food Technology Group. Topic: Experiences of a Malaysian student at Wageningen University & Research.
– Sanne van Leeuwen, Dutch MSc Student Organic Agriculture – Specialization Agroecology at Plant Production Systems. Topic: Sustainability of oil palm pineapple intercropping in Johor.
– Question & Answer session We will end this afternoon with an informal reception with drinks and food.
